Mahaffey Laboratory Ltd.

Mahaffey Laboratory was established in 1985 with a mission to provide quality environmental analyses at an affordable cost. This is accomplished by using the latest technology in analytical instrumentation and by providing our staff with training in the laboratory and through advancement in chemical and biological methods through seminars and classes outside the laboratory. Our staff has not only been educated intellectually but also ethically. Daily procedures and checks encourage employees to report data using appropriate moral standards.

Mahaffey Laboratory is a member of the Pennsylvania Association of Accredited Environmental Laboratories and serves on the board of directors. We strive to promote the advancement of environmental laboratories by providing educational opportunities and professional development. This development can be seen in the many areas of certification that have been gained in the past years and others that will be reached in the near future.

Our laboratory has addressed educational needs of local schools and community organizations, by providing tours of our laboratory facility with explanation of procedures and equipment. We have also been able to donate to our local schools both environmental expertise and various pieces of laboratory equipment and supplies.
